The inaugural exhibition in the Louise McCagg Gallery of The Diana Center, Barnard’s newest building and home of its art, architecture and performance programs. McCagg showed previously unseen sketches and drawings that reveal her working methods and creative musings. These personal, sometimes quick and rough renderings elucidate McCagg’s 21st century exploration of the ubiquitous modernist grid.
