McCagg shows a series of drawings comparing her present line to that of her older drawings. Apparently controlled, these earlier works are actually a product of uncertainty and unease. Paired with newer works that are more open to these feelings of disorientation, these drawings are a result of a calmer approach to the subject and a more assertive relationship to drawing.
